I’ll be posting after my son wins the fight with kidney transplant rejection.

by John Hall on May 16, 2010

I wanted to give you all an overview of the last couple weeks because I truly have appreciated all your kind thoughts and prayers. I have time to send out donation DVD gifts but that is about it, for now.

Andrew is battling rejection and has been in and out of the hospital 19 of the last 24 days… and when he’ll return home and be finished with treatments is uncertain.

He’s had every possible side affect of a kidney transplant, and made it through this far, and has never asked “why me”. He did ask, “Is this what hell is like?”.

Then Julie and I told him he didn’t have to go back to school for the rest of the year and he said, “Well maybe this is a little like heaven to” -:)

He is amazingly positive and the definition of perseverance… The doctors told him he will grow up and do “great things” and he replied back, “No thanks, I just want to be a fisherman.”

Kinda like Jesus.
