It is easier to kidnap children, teens (and even adults) from their feet.

Picture a group of protesters, why are they sitting on the ground? Because it takes time for the police to pick them up and move them. No wonder a protest isn’t called a “stand in”, it’s called a “SIT IN”.

Or think about worst-case scenario fire training if our clothes catch on fire. The longer we stay on our feet, the more we burn. The same can be said if your child’s a step away from a kidnapper’s car.

When your child does something unpredictable to DELAY the kidnapper in the first few seconds, odds are the kidnapper loses SPEED and CONTROL, so he’s likely to stop his attack, and run away.

And I’m not making this up, hoping this helps. I have talked to kids who have stopped abductions. And what is the one thing they ALL had in common? You guessed it.

They accidently slipped (or tripped) and stayed on the ground… What is even more surprising is what happened next, kidnappers didn’t try to pick the children up or hit them, they simply let go and ran.
